Tim Reid, the President, and CEO at Regina Exhibition Association Limited, which handles marketing and promotion for Tourism Regina, is here to discuss the Grey Cup and the economic impact it will have on the city of Regina and the province of Saskatchewan.

10:00 – With Children’s Tylenol and Advil scarce on pharmacy store shelves, we check in with an expert to see if is it safe to give children small doses of adult medication. Kelly Kizlyk is a Pharmacist, and Medication Information Consultant at the University of Saskatchewan and she joins Gormley with more on what we can do when our children are sick but there’s no medication available.

11:00 – $9 for a head of Iceberg lettuce…almost $140 for a case of Romaine. No wonder restaurants are cutting back on the leafy salad staple. The price of lettuce has local restaurants pulling salads from their menus. Jennifer Henshaw is with Restaurants Canada and she is here to explain why the price of lettuce is skyrocketing and what they are hearing from restaurant operators about how they’re adapting their menus.

12:00 – The Prokop brothers from Estevan are using technology to showcase all of Saskatchewan’s beauty from above. Taylan Prokop started the YouTube channel Prokop Productions where he shares drone footage of Saskatchewan. He got his brother Mason on board to collect Alberta content. Taylan Prokop joins Gormley to tell us more about how their hobby and YouTube channel.
