It’s game day at the Grey Cup Festival.
In advance of Sunday’s CFL title game, Festival events will begin at the REAL District at 11 a.m. outside Gate 3 of Mosaic Stadium.
The CFL Fan Zone is free to attend and will feature contests, football-themed activities and free giveaways from league sponsors.
An indoor tailgate party is set to start at noon in the International Trade Centre. Tickets are $104 each. The event will feature live entertainment by Hunter Brothers, food and refreshments.
At the same time, an outdoor tailgate party is to be held in Confederation Park. The party, which is free to attend for anyone with a ticket to the Grey Cup game, will be fully licensed and will have outdoor fireplaces available.
The cover band Toque is the featured entertainment.
The final event on the Festival’s schedule is the Grey Cup game, pitting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers against the Toronto Argonauts. Game time at Mosaic Stadium is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Saskatchewan recording artist Teagan Littlechief is to sing the national anthem and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds are slated to do a flypast before kickoff.
Country music stars Tyler Hubbard, Jordan Davis and Josh Ross are to perform at halftime.
