The driver of a bus carrying 47 passengers was ticketed for speeding and for not wearing their required prescription eyewear on a Saskatchewan highway Sunday.
In a tweet, Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan said the driver was doing 123 kilometres per hour in a 100 km/h zone. Police also said the driver “was not wearing glasses or contacts while driving,” which is required by their driver’s licence.
“We expect more of professional drivers,” the tweet continued.
The tweet didn’t say where the incident happened or what the monetary punishment was for the driver.
