A suspected home invasion Tuesday afternoon has led to charges against three people from Regina.
According to police, officers were dispatched at around 1:35 p.m., to a house in the 1300 block of Princess Street. Officers were told multiple suspects entered the home and pointed a gun and bear mace at the resident.
The suspects reportedly left the area in a truck. Officers subsequently found the vehicle parked in the 800 block of Retallack Street with several people inside.
As officers approached the truck, it sped off. Around 3:15 p.m., police found the truck on Labelle Place, conducted a high-risk traffic stop and arrested the three people inside.
In a search of the truck, police found metal pipes and several knives. A can of bear spray was found nearby.
A 27-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were charged in connection with the incident. They made their first court appearances Wednesday.
