A Regina man has been charged with the possession and distribution of child pornography.
According to police, officers with Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit began an investigation in November into child pornography that was being uploaded to a social media platform.
On Wednesday, officers executed a search warrant at a Regina home, where they seized electronic devices and arrested 35-year-old Carlin Stulberg.
He was released from custody “on numerous conditions,” police said, and will appear in court in February to answer the charges.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Stulberg was sentenced on Feb. 20, 2024, to 15 months in jail and given 15 months probation. He was ordered to provide a DNA sample, was given a 10-year firearms prohibition and will be on the sex offender registry for 20 years.
