The City of Regina is looking to offer visitors to Wascana Park — and its new outdoor pool — some tasty treats.
On Monday, the city said it had issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) in search of a business to provide food and beverage services at the new Wascana Pool. The newly built aquatics facility and its accompanying spray pad and playground are slated to open this year.
According to the city, there’s a 554-square-foot concession space with a fully functional commercial kitchen at the new pool. The concession stand is expected to serve people inside the pool gates and those visiting the facility.
An information session about the RFP is set for 10 a.m. on Jan. 18 at the Wascana Pool Concession, 2400 Wascana Dr. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 31.
