A head-on crash on the service road under the Ring Road in east Regina has led to charges against a 51-year-old Regina man.
Police said they got a call about the two-vehicle crash Tuesday at 1:30 a.m. At the scene, officers found the vehicles in the area where the road goes under the Ring Road.
Investigation determined a Dodge Journey crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a Nissan Rogue. The driver of the Rogue reported relatively minor soreness to police, while a passenger in the Journey was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police suspected the driver of the Journey was impaired, so he was arrested and subsequently charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm, and refusal to comply with a breath demand.
