A woman who had been an educational assistant at Vibank Regional School is being charged with multiple sexual crimes related to minors.
According to police, they were tipped off in October about inappropriate online communications between an adult woman and a male youth; police didn’t say how old the youth was.
That youth was a student within the Prairie Valley School Division. A second male youth who was a student in the division also was found to be a victim and police say there could be more.
Stacey Duke, 38, was an educational assistant at the Vibank Regional School, which teaches kindergarten to Grade 12 and is within the Prairie Valley School Division. According to police, she no longer works there.
On Monday, Duke was arrested and charged with two counts each of sexual exploitation of a young person, making sexually explicit material available to a child, and luring a child.
