Cassandra Fox, one of two people convicted in connection with the death of Bradley Ham in North Battleford, has died.
The Correctional Service of Canada said Fox was an inmate at the Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge in southern Saskatchewan and died Wednesday.
She was serving a sentence of two years, six months and 29 days after being convicted of being an accessory after the fact to murder, having a weapon while under a probation order, and failing to comply with a court order.
Fox, 26, had been jailed since Nov. 21.
Along with a review by the CSC, police have been notified. The law in Saskatchewan also requires a coroner’s investigation any time an inmate dies in custody.
