A 27-year-old Regina man has been charged after a late-afternoon bank robbery Monday.
According to police, officers responded just before 4:30 p.m. to a call about a robbery in progress at a bank in the 1900 block of Hamilton Street. Officers were told a man had entered the bank, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived.
Police said officers subsequently found and arrested the suspect at a building in the 1800 block of Hamilton.
The man was charged with robbery, failing to comply with a probation order, and failing to comply with a condition of a release order. He was to make his first court appearance Tuesday.
