A 16-year-old boy is facing a charge of attempted murder after a stabbing in Regina early Thursday.
According to police, officers were called at around 1:35 a.m., to a house in the 2000 block of Osler Street near Victoria Avenue for a report of a stabbing.
At the scene, police found a 14-year-old boy who had been stabbed during a fight. Police said paramedics took the victim to hospital with injuries that were described as “life-threatening.”
Police were told the alleged assailant had taken off in a car. He was located later and arrested.
The teen, who can’t be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, made his first court appearance on Thursday.
