Council retroactively slashed $1.33 million in rent owed by the Roughriders.
Robyn Silvernagle and her Saskatchewan rink couldn’t overcome a pair of ends where B.C. scored four points on Sunday, losing 11-6.
The loss drops Silvernagle’s rink — consisting of Silvernagle at skip, Kelly Schafer at third, second Sherry Just and lead Kara Thevenot — to 1-2 at the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, B.C.
The B.C. rink is skipped by Clancy Grandy. It also consists of third Kayla MacMillan, second Lindsay Dubue, and lead Sarah Loken.
Grandy’s rink (2-1) scored four in the second end and then again in the eighth to power them to the win.
Silvernagle and her rink will be in action on Monday against the Quebec St. Georges rink.
