The Regina Pats picked up a win, and some crucial points in the standings, at the Brandt Centre on Monday.
Regina defeated the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-2 in front of 6,499 WHL fans. The win gives the Pats (26-24-2-1) 55 points in the Eastern Conference standings — just two ahead of the Medicine Hat Tigers, who are chasing a playoff spot.
The Pats got scoring from Stanislav Svozil, Braxton Whitehead, Tanner Howe and Zane Rowan.
Regina’s Connor Bedard, who has a WHL-leading 105 points, had two assists in the contest.
Lethbridge (30-19-3-3) got goals from Jett Jones and Brayden Edwards.
The Pats are to host the Tigers on Wednesday.
