The Globe Theatre has decided to cancel some performances due to what it’s calling a COVID-19 “incident.”
According to a Facebook post, the theatre has cancelled performances of Sir John A: Acts of a Gentrified Ojibway Rebellion from Wednesday through Sunday.
People with tickets to those shows are being given the option to exchange their tickets for a different date, to donate their ticket in exchange for a charitable tax receipt, or to receive a refund.
“We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this causes, and we are appreciative of your support and patience as we navigate this to ensure the health and safety of all our artists, staff and patrons,” said the post, which urged people with questions to call the Globe box office at 306-525-6400.
