The Saskatoon Blades’ roll continued Friday.
The Blades won their third straight game, downing the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-1 in front of 4,277 WHL patrons at SaskTel Centre. Saskatoon improved to 7-0-1-0 in its past eight games and 10-1-1-0 in its past 12 outings.
Egor Sidorov scored two goals for the Blades, with one of those going into an empty net. Tanner Molendyk and Blake Gustafson also scored for Saskatoon (40-13-4-1).
Atley Calvert had the lone goal for the Warriors, who lost their third in a row to fall to 35-22-0-3.
Saskatoon’s Austin Elliott stopped 26 shots and was named the game’s first star. Justen Maric made 29 saves in the Moose Jaw goal.
The Blades are to play host to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday.
