The Regina Police Service’s bomb squad has completed its investigation into what initially was termed “a suspicious package” Tuesday morning.
In a release just after 1 p.m., police said the Explosives Disposal Unit had recovered the object that prompted the call in the 2100 block of Osler Street.
Police said the package didn’t contain any explosive materials and the EDU had cleared the scene. The release didn’t say what the package was, however.
At 10:45 a.m., police had asked the public to avoid the area as the bomb squad investigated the package.
