A car caught on radar doing more than 110 – that’s miles per hour, not kilometres per hour – had Saskatchewan police officers responding in a hurry.
According to a tweet from Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan, an officer clocked the vehicle doing 185 km/h, or 115 mph, on a road east of Regina.
Police said the vehicle was stolen.
The tweet said the driver lost control of the car after it lit up the officer’s radar. Officers from Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan and the RCMP were joined by conservation officers in making the arrest.
The tweet didn’t say what charges were laid against the two people in the car.
