Power restored after outage in northern Regina

Some residents in Regina’s Regent Park and Washington Park neighbourhoods were plunged into darkness Wednesday morning.

As of 7 a.m., power outages were reported in the 600, 700, 800 and 900 blocks of Albert Street and Angus Street as well as in the 2700 block of Avonhurst Drive, SaskPower’s outage map said.

It also said crews were working to repair partial power issues and estimated to have the power restored by 8 a.m.

In a phone call around 9 a.m., SaskPower said the power had been restored.
