Road work started Monday morning on Ring Road in Regina’s south end.
The Highway 6 bridge over Ring Road is being replaced and some of the detours have already begun.
According to the Highway Hotline, Ring Road has been reduced to one lane in both directions 1.2 kilometres before Albert Street, with respect to those travelling eastwards. The speed limit has also been reduced to 40 kilometres per hour.
Although this traffic disruption is expected to be over by April 10, the project will last until the fall.
Keep an eye out for a new Work Zone at Ring Road and Hwy 6 in Regina.
Work begins today, Monday March 27.
Stay safe and slow to 40.
Or find another route.
