A kitchen fire broke out at home in Regina’s south end Tuesday evening.
The home is located on the 200 block of Habkirk Drive.
Regina Fire and Protective Services said in a tweet even though firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, the home suffered heavy smoke damage.
It also said although residents and pets were forced to leave the home, nobody was hurt.
