The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added an offensive lineman to the fold.
The CFL team announced Monday it had signed Colton Lamson, a 6-foot-6, 296-pounder who spent five collegiate seasons at the University of California, Davis.
The product of El Dorado Hills, Calif., played in 37 games with the Aggies, primarily at left tackle. He won the Tony Kays Award as the team’s most improved offensive player after the 2021 spring season.
Before heading to UC Davis, Lamson played one season at Sacramento City College as a defensive lineman. He had 24 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble that season.
Saskatchewan now has 13 offensive linemen on its roster, including six Americans.
