The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added a former All-American.
On Thursday, the CFL team announced the signing of linebacker Kolby Harvell-Peel, who was named a third-team All-American in 2021 at Oklahoma State University.
The 6-foot-0, 222-pounder started in all four of his seasons at Oklahoma State, recording 237 tackles, 15 tackles for losses, five sacks, 10 interceptions, 24 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 49 games.
He earned first-team All-Big 12 honours in 2019 and 2021 and second-team honours in 2020.
Now 23, Harvell-Peel signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent after the 2022 NFL draft and attended rookie minicamp with them.
