Candles will be lit up Thursday for a teenager who died Sunday in Regina.
A candlelight vigil will be held in memory of 16-year-old Dendrae Thunder Lonechild starting at 5 p.m. on 13th Avenue between Garnet and Cameron streets.
Lonechild lost his life on Sunday after being hit by a car in Regina’s Cathedral neighbourhood.
Paramedics arrived and confirmed he was dead. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.
