A second person has been charged in connection with a weekend killing in a Regina trailer park.
Regina police said Thursday that Vanessa Lynn Okemaysim, 31, had been charged with second-degree murder and failing to comply with a probation order. She was to appear in Regina Provincial Court on Thursday morning.
Joshua Christopher Shore, 29, also is facing a charge of second-degree murder. He made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
Police identified the victim as 40-year-old T.J. Tanner, also known as Summer.
On Saturday at about 1 p.m., police and paramedics were called to a residence in the Glen Elm Trailer Court for a report of an injured person. The paramedics pronounced the person dead and police began a death investigation.
Officers subsequently determined the death to be a homicide.
