Regina residents can stay cool in the pool starting this week.
The City of Regina announced Tuesday that four outdoor pools — Regent, Maple Leaf, Buffalo Meadows and Wascana — are to open Thursday. Massey Pool is still undergoing repairs and is slated to open June 22.
The city-owned spray pads, which already have opened, are available daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All of the pools are to feature a number of activities beyond just leisure swims. There are to be drop-in and registered swimming lessons, adapted swimming lessons, Adapted Family Leisure Swim, Aquacise, $5 family swims, Toonie Teen Swims and preschool swim times for young children.
Pool locations, admission fees and more details can be found here.
