The move comes a week after the House of Commons passed a motion to step down and testify at the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs. 10:00 – The federal government is instructing the CRTC not to apply the regulations to social media when it comes to the Online Streaming Act. This ensures that the laws only apply to commercial broadcasters streaming content online. Rosa Addario is the Communications Manager for OpenMedia and joins Gormley to discuss why this is a good move by the government for people who use social media.

11:00 –A major bike lane project in the north part of Saskatoon significantly impacts residents and businesses. Connecting Ave C will build biking/walking lanes from 45th Street to Spadina. The concern is that businesses and residents were not adequately informed about the project size, and it seems this is something nobody was asking for. Joe Giocola is the CEO and owner of Precision auto body repairs, one of the business owners affected by this. He joins Gormley to explain his concerns with this project.
