The Melfort RCMP is asking for help to find a man and woman allegedly involved in an armed robbery.
On Tuesday at around 5 a.m., police received a report of a robbery at a home on Stovel Avenue East in Melfort.
Further investigation found that a man and a woman, both armed with guns, entered a home and threatened the residents before stealing items which included jewelry and car keys.
The two suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle, which they had stolen from outside.
Thankfully, the people in the house were not injured.
The Melfort RCMP continues to investigate and is asking anyone who has any information to come forward.
The male suspect is described as roughly six feet tall with a heavy build, and face tattoos.
Meanwhile, the female suspect is described as roughly 5-foot-5 with a medium to heavy build.
No photos of her were provided and the RCMP said they were both wearing face coverings at the time of the incident.
The two were originally travelling in a 2001 dark red Buick LeSabre (the stolen vehicle), but that has since been recovered by the RCMP.
Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to contact the Melfort RCMP at 306-752-6420.
