A report from The Standing Committee on Agri-Food and Agriculture in Ottawa has recently published called “Grocery Affordability: Examining Rising Food Costs in Canada,” has 13 recommendations to help with food inflation. Sylvain Charlebois is a food distribution and policy professor at Dalhousie University Agri-Food Analytics Lab and joins Gormley to discuss whether these recommendations might not go far enough and do more harm than good.
