Canada’s Farm Show says it attracted more patrons in 2023 than it did before the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a media release Monday, show organizers said attendance was up 20 per cent over 2022. They said more than 22,000 visitors were at the REAL District, including 115 international visitors from 70 countries.
The show featured 350 exhibitors, with more than $81 million in sales recorded.
The release said Canada’s Farm Show pumped $19.2 million in economic impact into the Regina area.
A total of 33 participants pitched ideas during the 24-hour startup competition.
Winners of the Innovation Awards were Accusampler UltraMT by VeriGrain, Binhalo by Adaptive Agriculture Solutions Inc., and InputsPro invented by Kristen Timmerman of InputsPro Inc.
The 2024 show is slated for June 18-20.
