Nobody was hurt after a massive house fire on the 2000 block of Robinson Street on Thursday night.
Regina Fire and Protective Services said in a tweet Thursday evening that firefighters saw smoke and fire when they arrived.
Crews were able to contain the fire quickly to the exterior of the home with minor extension to the interior, the tweet said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire occurred right behind The Mercury Café & Grill, which owner Chris Plumb said wasn’t damaged by the fire.
“We’re separated between that house and this place with a parking lot, so it was far enough away that there was no damage done at all,” he added.
When Plumb saw the fire break out, he said he was worried about the people who live there.
“I know they have a dog there, so I was hoping the dog was OK,” he added. “Then I found out later that everyone was OK.”
