A 67-year-old woman reported missing after she went to pick berries and mushrooms along the Hanson Lake Road has been located safe and sound.
In a release Friday morning, the RCMP said officers from the Deschambault Lake detachment were asking for the public’s help in finding the woman, who had been reported missing to police Thursday night.
Just after 1:30 p.m., the Mounties issued another release saying the woman had been found safe.
Smeaton is about 80 kilometres northeast of Prince Albert.
