In the early hours of Saturday, August 19, police received reports of two women and one man who assaulted a woman and stole her belongings.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
When police arrived at the 4200 Block of Dewdney Avenue, the found suspects had driven away. They were located a few blocks away and arrested without incident.
Sixty-one year old, Heather Fenwick of Regina is charged with the following offences:
• Robbery [CC 344(1)(b)]
• Possession of a Scheduled Substance [CDSA 4(1)]
Thirty-seven year old, Kerry Lerat of Regina is charged with the following offence:
• Robbery [CC 344(1)(b)]
• Breach of Probation [CC 733.1(1)]
Fifty-nine year old, Robert Oberkirsch of Regina is charged with the following offence:
• Robbery [CC 344(1)(b)]
All three are set to make their first court appearance in Provincial Court on Monday, August 21, 2023.
EDITOR’S NOTE: The charges against Oberkirsch and Fenwick have been stayed as of June 26, 2025. The matters were also stayed against Lerat but she was sentenced for a breach of parole. As part of her sentence, Lerat is required to report to her probation officer, participate in an assessment and complete programming for addiction and must live at a residence approved by her probation officer.
