A few months ago, the Wagner Group led an aborted revolt against President Vladimir Putin over the Ukraine war. 12:00 – A Saskatchewan screenwriter from Prince Albert is making a name for herself with her short film premiering at the Holly Short Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film “Pivot” is a story about a 12-year-old girl who stands up to her mother after being forced to wear a dress she hates. It has been selected to premier at 32 different festivals this year. Robyn Campbell is the film’s screenwriter and joins Gormley to discuss the film’s success.
