Regina added to special air quality statement

A special air quality statement has been expanded by Environment Canada to include Regina.

Earlier in the afternoon, it had been expanded to Saskatoon.

The weather office says a plume of wildfire smoke is continuing to move slowly and is making its way eastward across central Saskatchewan.

People with health conditions are asked to monitor their time outside and take caution if necessary.
