Saskatchewan man, 83, dead after crash with semi on Highway 5

An 83-year-old man from Margo is dead after his car collided with a semi on Highway 5 near Kuroki on Friday.

According to the RCMP, officers from the Wadena detachment responded to the crash, and the man was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. His family has been notified of the death, police said.

The semi driver did not report any injuries.

Police didn’t release the name of the dead man, or a cause of the crash.

“Wadena RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist,” the Mounties said in a statement.
