The Regina Police Service is investigating the homicide of a person that occurred early Saturday morning.
According to a news release, police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Winnipeg Street for an “injured male” at about 1:15 a.m.
The person was pronounced dead shortly after by EMS.
The release said his identity is not known at this time.
The investigation is being performed by the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
