Moose Jaw Police have caught man who is believed to have been involved in a violent home invasion where another man was stabbed and shot in the head.
The 29-year-old man was found by police in Moose Jaw at an east side residence.
On Wednesday, officers got a call at about 8 p.m. about “a suspicious occurrence” at a home on Irving Avenue.
According to police, they found the victim inside suffering from multiple stab wounds and a “serious non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head.”
The 28-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital.
Another 28-year-old man was arrested in connection to the home invasion.
While at the house of the attack, police seized a kilogram of fentanyl with an estimated street value $400,000. Police also found $6,700 in cash.
In July, there was another violent home invasion in the city, where a man fought off his attacker with a shovel.
In June, Moose Jaw Police investigated three overdose incidents resulting in death in 48 hours.
