10:00 – While an outspoken population in Saskatchewan is opposing new parental consent policies being put in place for schools by the provincial government, a population of parents are in favour of the change. Nadine Ness is with Hands Off Our Kids, an organization preparing for several rallies happening on Wednesday across the country in favour of these policy changes. She joins Gormley to share more about the upcoming march. Later, another leader with the event joins Gormley to explain why the issue is so important to them and their community.

An annual conference focusing on recovery from addictions, Recovery Capital Conference, will be in Regina on Sept. 25. Dr. Peter Butt, who will speak on recovery management in addictions medicine at the conference, joins Gormley to talk about recovery strategies, challenges, misunderstandings, impediments and what it takes to help people with recovery.
