8:30 – “Bunny hug” is an infamous, uniquely Saskatchewan term, referring to the type of sweatshirt that other provinces know as a “hoodie.” Recently, the Trademarks Office in Ottawa allowed for the word “Bunny Hug” to be registered as a trademark for “hooded sweatshirts,” giving a company the exclusive right to the word. Toronto trademark lawyer, Reagan Seidler, discovered this and joins Gormley to explain what the consequences of that trademark could be.

10:00 – Last week, a listener shared on the show that Romana Didulo, the so-called “Queen of Canada,” had shown up in the village of Richmound, Saskatchewan. Reports said she and some followers were staying in an abandoned school. On Sunday, more than 100 people from the village gathered to protest her presence.
