A crash on Highway 13 near Kisbey on Thursday left a man dead and five people hospitalized.
According to the RCMP, officers, firefighters, paramedics and STARS were called to the scene of a collision between a truck and an SUV at around 6:40 a.m.
After the initial report, police said another car struck the vehicles at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 31-year-old man from Redvers, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, police said, and his family has been informed. The two passengers in the truck were both taken to hospital with injuries.
Both people in the SUV were taken to hospital, one by STARS helicopter.
The driver of the car that struck the scene after the initial crash was also taken to hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the RCMP and coroners service.
