Regina police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that sent a man to hospital Saturday morning.
According to police, officers responded at about 10:25 a.m., to a house in the 1500 block of Elphinstone Street for a report that a man had been shot.
Officers found the 25-year-old man and provided assistance until paramedics arrived. The man subsequently was taken to hospital, where his injury was determined to be non-life-threatening.
Police said the male suspect fled the scene and officers didn’t find a gun in the area. A police media release about the incident didn’t include a description of the suspect.
