'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
A 37-year-old man who allegedly escaped from the Besnard Lake Correctional Camp earlier this month is once again behind bars.
According to the RCMP, Anthony Michael Alcrow escaped from the camp – which is located about 115 kilometres west of Beauval – on Oct. 7.
While police said he might be in La Ronge, Prince Albert or Beauval, Alcrow was ultimately found and arrested in Saskatoon by city police officers, the RCMP said.
He’s now facing a charge of escaping lawful custody and a charge of being unlawfully at large.
According to a statement issued Thursday by the Saskatchewan RCMP, Alcrow made a court appearance in Saskatoon on Monday.
