The Regina Police Service asked people to lock their doors in the North Central neighbourhood on Thursday night.
A police operation took place on the 1400 block of Garnet Street. Residents of the area were asked to shelter in place and vehicles and pedestrians were asked to choose another route.
Police did not mention the reason for the operation, but said the investigation was ongoing.
The operation began at 9 p.m. and finished at midnight.
