A woman is dead after a hit-and-run in Regina early Saturday.
According to Regina police, officers responded at around 1 a.m. to the 1100 block of Rae Street for a report of an injured person lying on the ground. When the officers got there, they found a woman who had been badly hurt.
Police say the woman was taken by paramedics to hospital, where she later died.
Investigators determined the woman had been hit by a vehicle. The driver didn’t stay at the scene.
Police said they didn’t have any other details to provide, such as a description of the suspect vehicle. They also didn’t release the identity of the victim.
