Regina police say there wasn’t a criminal aspect to the death of a woman in the city Sunday.
An investigation by police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service started Sunday afternoon, after officers were called to the area of 15th Avenue and Wallace Street after getting a report about a dead person in the area.
At the scene, officers found the woman’s body and called for a coroner.
“The investigation, including an autopsy authorized by the coroner, has concluded that the death is non-criminal in nature,” police said in a media release.
Police didn’t disclose the cause of death. They also said they wouldn’t be releasing the woman’s name.
