8:30 – Saskatoon City Council finalized the city’s multi-year budget on Friday, including property tax increases of 6.04 per cent in 2024 and 5.64 per cent in 2025. Jason Aebig, CEO of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, says council should have considered reducing the work force to find some much needed savings in the budget. He joins Evan.

Saskatoon Tribal Council Chief Mark Arcand joins Evan to discuss how things have changed since the move was made to evict residents with complex needs and to discuss the long-term plans for the wellness centre.

University of Regina associate professor Andrew Stevens, who is also a Regina city councillor, believes the province should look at setting the minimum wage according to local living wages.
