Regina police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service have determined the death of a woman late Tuesday wasn’t criminal in nature.
In a media release Wednesday afternoon, police said their investigation, as well as an autopsy authorized by the coroner, determined the death wasn’t suspicious.
The release didn’t specify what caused the woman’s death. Police added they wouldn’t be releasing the woman’s name.
According to police, officers were called at around 11:50 p.m. to a house in the 1300 block of Montague Street for a report of a dead person.
When the officers arrived at the house in the North Central neighbourhood, they found a woman’s body. A coroner was called, as were other police units.
