The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Tuesday that they had signed American defensive lineman Tre’ Crawford.
Crawford hails from Texas and played at the University of Alabama Birmingham from 2017 to 2018.
Most recently, Crawford spent two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, logging 18 defensive tackles, a special-teams tackle, four sacks and a forced fumble.

The 27-year-old also spent some time in the NFL, signing with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and then playing with the Denver Broncos from 2019 until 2020.
At the University of Alabama Birmingham, Crawford had 43 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks in 21 games.
