The death of a man whose body was found early Sunday in Regina has been deemed non-criminal in nature.
Police officers responded Sunday just after 3:30 a.m. to the 100 block of Fourth Avenue East for a call about a body. At the scene, officers found the man’s remains and called for a coroner.
According to a police media release issued Tuesday, the subsequent investigation — which included an autopsy — determined the man’s death wasn’t a criminal matter.
Police said they wouldn’t be releasing the name of the man. The media release didn’t include any other details, including the cause of the man’s death.
