Regina police are asking for help from the public as they investigate an assault with bear spray that occurred Saturday.
In a media release Tuesday, police said officers responded just before 6 p.m., to the 3100 block of Sixth Avenue for a report about people being assaulted with the irritant.
“Police arrived and located two victims who were under the effects of contact with bear spray,” the release said. “It was learned that two masked young persons approached the victims on bicycles, sprayed them, and then left on the bicycles.”
